Guided Walks
The next Wolsingham Wayfarers free guided walk takes place on Saturday 13th July leaving Wolsingham Town Hall at 10am. The 7 mile walk will be led by David Towndrow and will take in the spectacular views afforded by the heights of Wolsingham North Moor and Sand Egde*. The walk is graded moderate due to a 700ft ascent. If the weather is poor, there is an option to shorten the route. Once on the moors, you are rewarded for your efforts with excellent views across Weardale to the West, and as far as the North East coastline to the East.
*PLEASE NOTE: There is currently a general open access restriction on Wolsingham North Moor for dogs. However, dogs are permitted whilst on a short lead and on public footpaths.
Please visit our Facebook page for further details.
Our walks are open to all able to negotiate stiles and the occasional muddy patch
